An evil old god manipulated the portals to the dream world, separating Karr from her AI companion, Rachel, and teleporting her to Earth. She also lost her memory. She found an old Sempari spaceship that had been stranded on Earth 600,000 years ago. Meanwhile, Alisia arrives on a planet connected to Earth by a natural portal. When she returns to Earth, she and her friends must fight against the Senusan's evil plan to dominate the entire galaxy. Ultimately, Alisia must confront her former Vudari adversary, Kind Saden. The book Laim-Saga 9: Die Neue (german) by Abyline I. Dahlson is the ninth book in a science fiction series. Karr must fight the crew of the Fusrut spaceship. When the ship explodes, she flees in a lifecapsule and is rescued by the Sempari Usur. The Sempari believe Karr to be a fraudster because her name is the same as that of a Sempari family. She is arrested, but goes on to save the Sempari battleship and is promoted to admiral. I enjoyed reading the story. Available at Amazon.

The book Laim-Saga 8: Spiel um die Erde (german) by Abyline I. Dahlson is the eight book in a science fiction series. The Fusrut Aliens have attacked Earth. Beatrice has been sent to Earth to help humanity fight back. Beatrice and Karr attempt to attack the Fusrut spaceship. However, their plan fails and they are sent to the Jupiter moon Ganymede. They have to fight a crystalline life-form. On their way back to Earth, they become separated in time, with Karr arriving months before Beatrice. Karr fights the alien race, and ultimately tries to capture a Senuskian spaceship. It was enjoyable to read the story. Available at Amazon.

Dahlson is the eleventh book in a science fiction series. Catie was sent as an ambassador to the Onisiwoen's homeworld. Her task is to integrate the Onisiwoen into the Delphi Alliance. They also intend to find new home worlds for the other slaves and to establish trade with the other cultures. I enjoyed reading the book. Available at Amazon.

According to an old prophecy, Karr is the protector of Earth. Beatrice was sent to Earth to defend it from Vudari Admiral Fouché. Herbi, the AI from Beatrice, and Rachel become lovers. When the Fusrut are attacking Earth, Karr and Beatric are trying to defend their home planet with the aid of their AIs. It was fun to read the story. Available at Amazon.

There, cloud entities drain energy from human beings. After this, Alisia finds the planet from which her killers came. Alisia and her friends are trapped, and while trying to escape, they enter an ancient tunnel system. A new Laim KI is implanted in a child. Alisia nearly dies. She can now control different avatars of herself. With the help of this new technology, the Lyridians attack the Uscatti fleet. It was fun to read the story. Available at Amazon.

Alisia, The Queen of Lyridis, and her followers are searching for resources to build a new spaceship. They free Lessly and her daughter from the clutches of the criminal Fusrut cartel. The story of Simplicissimus is recounted. A man from Earth who was captured by an expedition of Sinuskians, an alien race. He becomes chief of a planet. He gets chief of a planet. He helps Alicia to get a new ship. However, he later betrays her. The story evolves and was fun to read. Available at Amazon.

Beatrice gets married, is kidnapped, and accidentally has the newborn KI Herbie implanted in her. The Laim spaceship NT4 is hunted and destroyed by Alisia's enemies. The book Laim-Saga 2: Galaktisches Tribunal (german) by Abyline I. Dahlson is the second book in a science fiction series. Alisia's spaceship has been almost destroyed. They repair the ship and rescue other slaves. However, they are hunted by the Vudari and captured in a trap. The realtionship between Alisia and Adonis is growing stronger. But it's complicated... The story is an easy read, quite fun and provides good entertainment. Available at Amazon.

Salma, who was born on the ship and is now 20 years old, makes the discovery. The crew of the Shadow discovers a message, which they replicate. 25'000 light years away, a new quasar is visible and threatens to warm up the galaxy, which could destroy life on Earth. On the planet, the crew discovers a new life form. Another expedition from Earth is sent to Planet 9 to help find a way to save the universe as we know it. The system sends them to a village populated by bear-like people who are in fear of a demon. Elb wants to find out what this demon is all about. The story was quite entertaining. The book Peripherie (german) by William Gibson is a science fiction story. Flynne lives in the near future. She plays in a VR game and completes a task for her brother. She witnesses a murder. After that someone tries to kill her and her brother. After that, someone tries to kill her and her brother. They are contacted by Wilf, who is from 200 years in the future. Using an advanced VR constructed from plans from the future, Flynne is able to travel to the future in an artificial host body, a so called peripheral. Wilf explains to her, that a catastrophe has wiped out most of humanity. They try to help her alter the past, but with every change, the outcome differs from Wilf's future. The book Der Riss (german) by Andreas Brandhorst is a science fiction novel. The hacker Flynn Darkster and his team are captured by the Pentagon. They are forced to work for Project Horatio. They believe that the world is a simulation and their goal is to prove this and become the first ones to obtain the key to total manipulation of reality. The book Die Nullform (Buch 6): RealRPG-Serie (german) by Dem Mikhailov is the sixth book of the series. Elb and his crew reach the caravan's final destination. They recruit two new members and enter Zombieland to become heroes. Elb gets more information about the apocalypse. The book starts with more descriptive writing until the middle. Then it returns to the dialogue style. It was quite refreshing and entertaining. Available at Amazon.

The wormhole technology is improved. The McCormacks have to defend their colony Artemis from the attack of the alien species called Fazullans. Catie manages to graduate from the military academy. The book Die Nullform (Buch 5): RealRPG-Serie (german) by Dem Mikhailov is the fifth book of the series. Elb and his crew become members of the protected group 17, the Rohtarians. This is one level higher in the hierarchy. Two team members leave the crew because they prefer to live a life without constant fighting. The rest of the crew travels with a homemade boat across the ocean to the town of the Good Hearts. After a few adventures in the town, they leave it an join a caravan of wandering nomads. The book is quite entertaining. Available at Amazon.

The audiobook Die Mitternachtsbibliothek (german) by Matt Haig is an entertaining and somewhat philosophical book. Nora Seed doesn't want to live anymore. At the end of her life she wakes up in a library containing an infinite number of books about her. Each book contains a different life of Nora in which she has made different decisions. Nora visits some of the lives of her other selves. She realises that she is important to other people and her life is quite good and that she has many reasons to go on living. The story is great and can be highly recommended. Available at Amazon.

They climb into the higher areas of Drainagetown and learn more about the spiders. As the group follows an expedition of a spider group that never returned, they learn about the origin of the Memback pills, which give flashbacks to a previous life. And they visit the land of the Devas and take a new member with their group. The book is quite entertaining. Available at Amazon.

The book Die tausend Erden by Stephen Baxter is a science fiction story. In the year 2145 John Hacknett takes his spaceship Perseus to the Andromeda galaxy. As he travels at the speed of light, he also travels through time due to the time dilation effect. When he returns to Earth, 5 million years have passed. Equipped with better technology, Hacknett embarks on further expeditions. Mela lives in the year 30 until the end of the world. In the end, Hacknett and Mela cross paths. The story was quite original and I enjoyed reading the book. Available at Amazon.

The book Die Kunst des Krieges (german) by Peter Cawdron is a science fiction story about mankind's first contact with aliens. It's a stand-alone book in the Erstkontakt series. Out of the blue China seems to be attacking the US. But their tactics are surprisingly poor. Commander Lisa Chao of the US Navy manages to find out what is going on. Earth is facing an enemy hiding on the dark side of the moon. China's General Mao Huang uses Sunzi's ancient rules of tactical warfare. I really liked the story. Available at Amazon.

The book Die Apotheke (german) by Peter Cawdron is a science fiction story about mankind's first contact with aliens. It's a stand-alone book in the Erstkontakt series. Anthony and blind Lucy live in London in the Middle Ages. It's a harsh time, ruled by the Queen and the Church. When they are almost burned at the stake, they are rescued by aliens. They travel through space at the speed of light. 500 years later, when Anthony returns to Earth, everything has changed. The story was quite good. Available at Amazon.

They learn that the Soren and Alex of this universe are quite ruthless. Jane Strickland fights against them. They also understand what is the reason for the eye. Captain Soren Strickland and his crew learn that other locations are also being attacked. The planet where his son Alex Strickland and his Scorpion team are stationed is also taken. The book Ihr wollt es dunkler (german) by Stephen King is a collection of twelve short horror stories. The first story is about two talented men. After a strange encounter they become famous. Another story is about a boy who has been kidnapped and after his escape he is not sure if it was real. The last story is about a man who had three strange encounters with the Answer Man who could answer his questions correctly, but granted only a few minutes for asking. The book Was macht KI mit unserer Sprache? (german) by Christoph Drösser discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on humans. Chat GPT and co. will influence our society. The bots are trained on human texts. The original texts are diminishing. For the further development of the large language models they will also comsune a lot of output from other bots, mostly without knowing it. The output of the bots will therefore become less human. We should read and write a lot and not let the bots do all the work. The short book has some interesting ideas and is a good starting point to the theme. Available at Amazon.

Soon everything goes wrong. After an accident, Dr. Ryan Heller and his team try to rescue another team. Elizabeth Bower ist a medic working in an African war zone. One day she and her team have to flee the war when a warlord an his group approach their base. She is able to escape with the help of UN soldieres. On the run, they hear of an alien visit to Earth. But soon they are attacked by rebels an captured. She and a soldier are thrown into a room with a captured alien. The story was quite interesting and I really enjoyed reading it. Available at Amazon.

Toby and Zeb's relationship is revealed as Toby tells Zeb's story to the new people. We learn about the childhood of Zeb and his brother Adam and how they grew up and became the men they are. Len Colter's grandmother tells him stories from the past, when people lived in big cities. When one day Esau, the cousin of Len Colter, steals a forbidden book and a strange device, they want to know more and go on a journey to find Bartorstown a mystical place. I liked the story. The book Das Jahr der Flut (german) by Margaret Atwood is a science fiction thriller. It is the second book of a trilogy. Big companies shape people's lives. Cosmetics and medicine and everything in between. The community of the Gardeners tries to live with nature instead of controlling it. One day, however, a deadly pandemic spreads and humanity is almost wiped out. I enjoyed reading the book and am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. Available at Amazon.

The big companies start their race to the object to claim it for themselves. Troops are sent into the object to discover its secrets. The story has some good ideas and I liked it.
